GTREP

The Georgia Tech Regional Engineering Program is an academic collaboration between Georgia Tech and three partner institutions: Armstrong Atlantic State University, Georgia Southern University, and Savannah State University. The GTREP program allows students to earn bachelors degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer and Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering without leaving Savannah.

Armstrong Atlantic State University GTREP students enroll at Armstrong Atlantic and complete humanities, mathematics, and science courses as well as freshman and sophomore engineering courses required in the first two years of the Georgia Tech engineering curricula. Prior to their junior year, students apply for transfer admission to Georgia Tech and complete their degree program as a Georgia Tech student through Georgia Tech Savannah. In the junior and senior years, students are taught by Savannah-based Georgia Tech faculty, complemented by distance instruction from the other Georgia Tech campuses.
