Dr. Goeser received her B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and her Ph.D. from the University of Delaware.   She then worked as a research associate (post-doctoral fellow) at the Center for Composite Materials, University of Delaware for two years before joining Armstrong Atlantic State University as a faculty member in the Engineering Studies Program. 

 

Dr. Goeser’s research focuses primarily on theoretical and numerical work in the area of composite materials. Her current research interests include structural health monitoring, damage modeling in materials, computational biomechanics and innovative methods in engineering education.
